Since 1904, Oris has always overcome the difficulties of the times with honest and precise work. And with unique ideas to turn mechanical watches into timepieces.

Swiss precision, bold design and innovation - these are the main features of this prestigious watchmaking brand, which once again comes up with enticing new products for lovers of quality automatic watches.

Tradition and innovation: the Oris storyBefore

delving into the details of the new models, it is worth recalling the rich history of this Swiss brand. Oris was founded in 1904 in Hölstein, Switzerland, a small town in the Waldenburg Valley. The founders, Paul Cattin and Georges Christian, named their company after a nearby stream, and from the start focused on producing mechanical watches of the highest quality.

Over its 118 years of existence, Oris has built a reputation for producing watches with excellent value for money. All Oris watches are fully mechanical - the brand has never gone the route of quartz movements, which commands well-deserved respect from true watch lovers.

Today, the Oris collection is divided into four main categories:

  • aquis diving watches
  • proPilot aviation watches
  • motorsport watches
  • classic Culture watches

Each line has its own distinctive features, but all are united by Swiss precision and reliability.

Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400

Enjoy the elegance and perfection of watchmaking in the new Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400. The angular lines of the 39mm case, as well as its satin sandblasted finish and larger crown, reference the inspiration of durable aviation watches. The technical look is complemented by the familiar ProPilot lunette and a textured titanium bracelet.

The dial on the front can be chosen in grey, blue or salmon. All variants are crafted with exceptional attention to detail, each offering its own distinctive character:

  • The grey variant is characterised by a technical, almost industrial look that underlines the DNA of the aviation watch.
  • The blue version brings a sportier touch and has a more dynamic feel.
  • The salmon edition is the boldest choice, and one that will certainly not escape attention.

A groundbreaking movement for demanding conditions

The back of the watch offers a fascinating glimpse of the Oris Calibre 400 movement with up to five days of power. Its accuracy is -3 to +5 seconds per day within chronometer certification standards. Even after being exposed to some form of the magnetic fields we are surrounded by every day.

The Calibre 400 series machines contain more than 30 non-ferrous and anti-magnetic parts and have been developed to minimize friction and wear -- for example, the winding rotor uses a plain bearing system that significantly extends life. Thanks to these innovative features, Oris offers an incredible 10-year warranty on this watch, clearly demonstrating the manufacturer's confidence in the quality of its products.

A design that meets the highest demands

The Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400 automatic watch is a perfect example of how to combine functionality with elegance. The titanium case ensures exceptional durability while maintaining a light weight, which is especially appreciated by those who wear their watches all day long. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment guarantees excellent legibility in all lighting conditions.

Water resistance to 100 meters allows carefree use in most water activities. The integrated titanium bracelet with safety folding clasp provides not only wearing comfort but also a high level of security.

Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400 Bi-Colour

The admirable diver's watch returns with two colourways that take the fascinating touch of real gold above the ordinary timepiece. The 41.5mm case offers either a forest green or dark blue dial.

The counterpoint to the dark depths in both variants is the glamorous outer edge of the unidirectional lunettes in 18k gold. But the hands, indices and even the minute scale are also rendered in the precious metal, completing the balanced, cohesive look of the design.

Practical luxury for everyday wear

In both versions, the watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet and a rubber strap in matching green or blue, which can be easily switched using Oris ' patented system known as Quick Strap Change, i.e. without the need for any tools. This innovative system allows the watch to adapt to any occasion in seconds - from a formal meeting to a weekend adventure.

The Aquis Date Bi-Colour combines the elegance of precious metal with the ruggedness of a diver's watch, making it a versatile timepiece for any occasion. While the gold adds a touch of luxury, the technical specifications remain uncompromising:

  • water resistance to 300 meters
  • screw-down crown with protection
  • unidirectional rotating lunette
  • super-LumiNova luminescent elements for perfect legibility even in the darkest depths

High-end movement for the toughest conditions

The watch boasts a Calibre 400 automatic movement, which gives the watch an enhanced level of resistance to magnetic surroundings and a five-day power reserve. The Calibre 400 represents the pinnacle of Oris' technological development and offers:

  • 120 hours (5 days) of power reserve
  • high resistance to magnetic fields
  • accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day
  • service interval of 10 years

As with all watches in the Calibre 400 series, both pieces come with a 10-year warranty when registered with MyOris, making this automatic watch not only a luxury accessory but also a sound investment.
