The Czapek Antarctique Passage de Drake Afterglow is a limited edition of 100 pieces that embodies the harmony of technical precision and aesthetic elegance. Its name, Afterglow, refers to the soft violet hue of the dial, evoking the twilight light over the polar landscape.
The dial is adorned with the exclusive Stairway to Eternity pattern, which creates a three-dimensional effect and a captivating play of light and shadow. This design is officially registered and is the result of meticulous development by Czapek’s in-house design team.
The 40.5 mm case is crafted from polished and brushed stainless steel, seamlessly integrated into the steel bracelet. The watch is powered by the in-house SXH5.01 calibre with a micro-rotor made of recycled platinum 950, offering a power reserve of up to 60 hours. The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback and impresses with its open architecture and meticulous finishing.
The watch is water resistant to 120 meters and features a hacking seconds function for precise time setting. Thanks to the Easy Release system, the bracelet can be effortlessly exchanged for an alternative leather or rubber strap.
The Afterglow model is a testament to Czapek’s mastery in independent watchmaking and is designed for those who seek a timepiece that is both exceptional and deeply personal.
